About Cave Run Lake:

Numerous streams have left alot of crumbling sandstone escarpments around Cave Run Lake. No single area is a destination, but their sum (including Clack Mountain) represents some of the best bouldering in the state. Quality problems abound.
Nearest town or city: Morehead
Directions: Take the Sharkey/Farmers exit. Go south toward Cave Run Lake, to a 4-way stop at US60 intersect. Drive about 15 miles to steep roadcut on both sides of windy road. At a break on the left, park at the pulloff, making sure not to block the gate. 2 well-parked cars maximum.
