About Kingston Quarry:

This is a unigue place that was created by a group of climbers from the gunks, who after the 1987 bolting ban needed a place to work on hard routes. As there are few routes at or above 5.13 in the gunks that is what the majority of these routes are. The wall is exceptionally smooth and therefore all of the routes are manufactured. Most of the holds are drilled pockets and there are even a couple of holds bolted to one route.

Directions: The Quarry is a few hundred yards up a hill into the woods off of Gill st in Kingston, NY. There is a small map on the topo. There didnt seem to be a trail when I was there, but it was easy enough to find.
