About Bruce Lake:

Nice glacial lake with 2.5 mile hike in access. Very cool area with some unseen potential. The boulder in the PA guidebook is short and sweet with at least 5 routes several overhanging. 12-15' with harsh landing exposure. Only worth the hike if you want take in the scenery. Please leave it better than you found it. On the way in half way between the two lakes there are several large boulder fields and cliffbands on the left side right about where you get attacked by bugs. These are unclimbed and dirty. Some real nice potential, but they are not climbable in the current state.
Nearest town or city: Promised Land
Directions: Park at the second Bruce Lake pull out south of 84. Hike in about 2.5 miles. Once you get to the second lake you will pass 3 or so cleared areas at the lake and the trail goes to single track. Continue till you reach an old well pump. Take that trail down to the lake.
