Approach: | from the cul-de-sac on the end of Frew Road, take the Link Trail down to the stream bed, either go straight up the hill, just staying on public land, or continue right up the valley on the Link Trail until you wish to break left off of the trail and bushwack to the top of the ridge |

Access Issues: | Yes. Public Land - Rothrock State Forest (DCNR) is everything right and up the saddle past the classic Hunter's boulder (#6) when entering the Fortress along the forest boundary line straight up the hill from the cul-de-sac. *Private Land is everything to the left of the fire ring and "cave" area once entering the Fortress on the same boundary line trail. The private section is approx. 100 sq. yards compared to the more than mile of boulders along the ridge. PLEASE respect the boundary line and enjoy all of the public rock that is available! |
