About Bull Creek:
Public park. Popular place to bring dogs offleash, but they typically stay across the creek and out of the climbing area. Mosquitos can be fierce, so bring your repellant! Creek is often used as a swimming hole in the Summer, but isn't the cleanest body of water in Austin. |

Directions: | Take 360 (AKA Capital of Texas Highway) to 2222. Travel east on 2222 for about 200 yards. Turn left on Lakewood Drive. Follow Lakewood Drive (veering left) until you come to a low water crossing. Park before crossing the creek.
from mopac, go west on 2222 for about 3 miles then take a right on lakewood just past the county line bbq restaurant. if you hit 360, you've gone too far. from 183, head west on 360. turn left on lakewood. go past thr first parking lot until you cross the creek. parking is on the left. |
