Simpson Rock
About Simpson Rock:
| Hike past the trail for the Minium Trail, stay on road for about 100 yards and keep an eye to the left, the trail is faint and winds through the trees past a small crag with two climbs (walk along the base of this crag and you are on the right trail) go uphill to wildly overhung rock on the south side to vertical rock on all other sides. There is a boulder in front of Simpson rock called the Shellbyville boulder, there are two problems that start in the erosion gulley and top the boulder. The Shellbyville boulder is also a good place to shout beta or just plain heckle. |
