About The Fin:

A beautiful fin of rock with difficult friction routes and some tricky aid climbs. To approach, don't walk on the Church road. Someone, with lots of time and energy, has cut and marked an apporach trail. Look for yellow ribbons. The trails starts in a gully about 40 feet east of the LDS Church vault road. It traverses west and up to the gully between the Fin and the butress on which the Gargoyle resides. Follow the trail to a sandy area past the second set of cottonwood trees. Follow a low-angle ramp up and right, then slabs to the the base of the Fin.
