West Face Mt. Spry
About West Face Mt. Spry:
The West Face of Mt. Spry lies just to the right (East) and above the Zion Canyon road junction. Approach by taking the shuttle up the canyon road to the first wide pullout on the left (maybe a third of a mile up). Carefully choose the longest continuous talus slope that will take you up to the base of the prominent cliffs above, approximately at the start of 'Dancing With Zully'. 'Sandblaster' can be gained by traversing about 150 meters to the left (North) along the base. Fast and competent parties could likely climb both routes in a single long day. |
