About Amphitheater area:

Before reaching the quarry pond, there is a large clearing with a campfire looking circle.
Approach: Park on either side of James River. Fastest approach is by parking near or on Tredgar st., accessed via 5th st. Cross over pedestrian bridge. Second access by crossing over bridge via Belvidere St. and taking Riverside Dr.. Park in second james river park access to the right a half a mile off exit. Walk is further this way but you will reach a similar bridge as Tredgar st access.
