About Moormans Boulders:
| This is a beautiful local crag, located right on the Moorman river. A handful of beatiful gritty sandstone problems around the corner from the roadside face. There are a couple dynos and tricky face problems. The roadside face has about 5 mini-"routes." They are great face bouldering problems, its like doing a 20ft route. The main wall has a few top rope routes, hike back along the trail to see lots of problems, off the path left is a small boulder with thin face type climbing. The main wall is all the way back in. The "main wall" is more like a training gym. Lots of eliminates and just fun training. The enntire part is overhanging, probably around 10-20 deg from vertical. |
