About Exit 38:

Here’s an area that’s close to most people. All the routes are sport climbs and a wide range of difficulties. This is a great area to start climbing. The rock is known as "rhino rock". It’s some volcanic type rock. Most routes that are here have been cleaned which involves removing lots of loose rock. Most routes aren't over 80 feet yet a few are longer and some shorter. Hard routes are usually steep and well protected and even the easy routes are well protected.
