About The Tooth:

The Tooth is a large rock buttress above Snoqualmie Pass. Access is via the Snow Lake Trail and a lesser traveled climbers trail, starting at the Alpental parking lot. Plan on spending the better part of a day for the approach, climb and return to the parking lot.
Nearest town or city: Snoqualmie Pass
Directions: Park at the Alpental parking lot (parking pass is required). Start at the Snow Lake Trailhead and follow the trail to Snow Lake until it branches off to the right. From that point, continue straight along a trail, through a boulder field (and maybe a snowfield) then up toward the gully below The Tooth. Access the base of the climb via Pineapple Pass, between the two smaller pinacles to the left of The Tooth, then around the back side of Pinapple Peak. The route consists of about 4 pitches of 4th class to 5.5ish climbing.
