About Solid Rock Sports:
| Decent gym located right in downtown Milwaukee (nice if you're in the flats for one of the several colleges) in Turner Hall. It's located across from the Bradley Center (Buck's/Admiral's/sports..) on 4th St. Since there are a million and two ways to get there, I'll give the directions from Hwy 43. From Hwy 43, exit onto 4th and Broadway which will take you into the heart of downtown. From there, exit onto 4th street, the same exit that will take you to the Bradley Center (there'll be a sign for that as well). Take it south (straight) for two block, where you'll see it on the left side of the road, directly across from the Bradley Center. Enter through the left door (not the enterence to the restaurant) and have fun. The height of the walls are ~25 ft., with the real fun being the bouldering. They just added an extention to thier existing wall, so there's more fun for everyone. They also have a small pro shop with whatever you might need, or the ability to get it. |
