This is defined as the area just west of the campground at Deer Creek, around the corner to Cabin Creek.

Access Issues: The Slot, and Wake and Bake are blocked off by Hawkeye Ranch property. There have been new developments on the north side of the road, so the recommended approach in the guidebook is now posted. It is best to park at the Deer Creek Campground and proceed up and left from there. Long, and drawn out, but better than a conflict with the land owners.
