About Piedra de Cachi:
There are six routes in this rock. The height is about 25 meters. The first route is a 5.6, good for heating up, then it starts to go (right to left) harder and harder, where the last route (first one left to right) is a 5.13a. The rock is very clean (where the routes are) and if it rains the same rock will work as a roof for you, you can still climb! |
Nearest town or city: | Cachi |
Directions: | You can get there driving or by bus. Passing the "represa de Cachí", just follow the street for 10 more minutes and you will see the rock on your left. You need permission from the owner to go climbing (not a prob!). Also you need to pass a river that is easy on the dry season. |

Access Issues: | Access to the area costs $1.00 and that includes camping. Some people complain about it, but the owner is a really cool guy that goes out of the way for climbers so I would like to call out to all climbers to pay the $1.00 and maybe a little more if the price goes up one day. |
