About Imbabura:
Imbabura is a 4000+ meter extinct volcano near the town of Ibarra north of Quito. It is a very long hike to a fun scramble along the crater rim. The views of the countryside are beautiful. This is a good acclimatization hike for people interested in the higher 5000 meters peaks. |
