I haven't felt the urge to upload a photo here in a long time, so I don't know why I am now, but here's a shot of Miguel's (a few shots technically) taken early in the morning as we left. For those that love Miguel's...

So Sam got on this route for me so I could shoot some photos. Turns out he really really liked it. If you climb the hard 11 range you should definitely get on this one your next visit to the gorge

I didn't let my injury stop me from going on a road trip down to RRG. Thanks to gowser and leedaclimber for helping set up a makeshift belay system to get me up the steep bit of the approach! I never thought I would be content or consider it an accomplishment just to have completed several approaches in a weekend!

Andrew Vervaeke on the beautiful 5.10a, Crack Attack, at the Red River gorge. Despite the hike out, this crag is well worth the time.

Belaying Peter at RRG's Great Arch, one of the most beautiful setting at the Red. But mind the poison ivy.

Taking a whipper off of the finishing holds on my route Tye-Dye Bulge 5.9+. The last piece was a #5 stopper which thankfully held in the sandstone crack. Photo by Mike Li.

On Auxier Ridge trail at Haystack Rock. Looking out to Double Arch but the sun has set too much to see it clearly. Had been raining in the previous days and water was still leaching in a small stream over the cliff edge. Shot is underexposed as it accentuated the reflection and didn’t get washed out by the rock.

I went wayyyy easy for my first trad lead. i figured itd be safer and i later came to the conclusion that starting off wayyyyyy easy might keep elitist thinktheyknowitalls off my back. The route is kate's 1st trad lead at the red, a 5.1, twenty feet. the last chunk of it is easy as walking up stairs.
