Someone asked me to post this....so here it is. If you are heading towards Lincoln Lake via the Weddington route, hit the last dirt road on left before the turn off to the lake. Go down this road until you see a big white steel gate on the right. Park at the gate. Hop over the gate (this land is public) and follow the path up on top of the dam (i.e. go straight past the gate, then up the big hill on right). Walk across dam to the other side of the lake. The bouldering area is a couple hundred yards off to the right after you reach the other side of the dam. Most boulders are 25 - 50 yards from the shoreline. The dam is not a concrete dam like Beaver Lake. Just made of dirt where all the bulldozers closed in the back side of the lake. Some people call it a dike. Whatever. Just don't be looking for big concrete 'cause you won't find it.
