How climbable is the Killer Cave area in July and August? I might be out there this summer and I would like to climb at Sinks. In the past, I have stuck to Wild Iris, because I assumed that Sinks is just too hot. Is that a correct assumption? Is there shade to he had?

Just go early... or later (in the day).. and you can climb just about anywhere at the sinks. Don't show up at noon. Killer Cave does pretty well for most of the the day too. We make an annual trip every July (as well as many others). If you're coming from NH, you may also want to check out "Ten Sleep".

cheers,

Thanks...I stopped by Ten Sleep once and it seemed very hot and very sharp. But first impressions are sometimes wrong.
