Hi, I am not too familiar with the area, (I've mtn biked in Moab) but am interested in climbing here because... frankly, it has the best weather forecast near to me in the next week or so. Let me know! Tommy 403-629-4631 thomas.n.mcmillan@gmail.com

Define "near" to you. Utah is big. There are climbing areas that are 2, 3, and 5 hrs from SLC.

The forecast for Zion and the South Eastern part of the state look good. I will probably hit these areas, and then head to red rocks NV, and then on to Yosemite.

If you're not that familiar with the state, allow 5 hours from Moab to Zion via the fastest route (181 N to I-70 W to I-15 S. There are other routes, but they're longer drive time.).
