Had he asked "Can anyone cite scientific journals that clearly show additional weight in bouldering wil increase my strength" I would have declined to respond.
Since the request was for personal experience I gave mine. I'm sorry if you disagree, maybe your right, who cares? I"ll stick to the training method I'm doing now and continue to use H.I.T. training because I feel its valuable. Eric Horst is one of the leaders in training for climbing. I'll take his word for it for now.
