huh. I just read up on them a bit, but where we were doesn't seem to fit the conditions for chigger larvae growing...unless they were around the area above Disneyland where we picked blueberries. its not so bad now. thry don't burrow, but they do disolve and ingest skin cells. I'll have to keep the deet along next time. hiopefully the showering and scrubbing I did sunday when I got home disloged them all.

Just did a bit of reading about the daddy longlegs too. nope, they can't bite us huminz.
