Anyway :!: What is everybody climbing this weekend? If the weather is nice Paolo and I will be at Beez; otherwise we are going to go mushroom-hunting on Sunday  . Hopefully, my health insurance will be active before dinner...

I will climb NOTHING this weekend, unless Michele can pray to the weather gods and order sunshine for us, which I really really hope. :? GD, please drop the plans about mushroom-hunting. In exactly 7 days you guys are supposed to be taking a certain flight, not p*king your guts out b/c you ate a fly agaric.

Everything is weather dependent! Saturday: I have found some nice multipitch routes which I would like to do, they range between 80-180 m. Sunday: Courbassere with some alpine organisation. I must check them out as they have some interesting plans for ice-climbing during this winter. Thus they will have some basic introduction climbing with people and I join to check them out. Also nice to meet new people and practice my italian. Btw. Anyone of you doing some more serious ice-climbing. I have very little experience in this field but if anyone knows more and is willing to share some knowledge in practice, plz let me know. I have most equipment for this except two technical axes which will be invested in the near future.

churtr, Michelebz is the man on this one. He climbs like W-(insert ridiculously high number here). And I think there is an ice festival in Arco either in Jan or Feb... date should be set fairly soon. Tis, baby, you have GOT to get out of Germany and onto some big walls! ... and I think the mushrooms you're talking about are more plentiful 1.5 hours north in the Amsterdam grocery stores ;-) Heiko, Paolo has assured me that 'he knows what he's doing' regarding the mushrooms. HELP :!:

In reply to: ... and I think the mushrooms you're talking about are more plentiful 1.5 hours north in the Amsterdam grocery stores ;-) Oh, I never bought them since they're growing almost everywhere. Might be a little to early though, around the first frost is their time. Just have to find the right place... But honestly, I'm done with that. I appreciate that I don't grow cathedrals out of my head and the spiders on the wall are as seldom as peaceful :D - Daniel
