Much to my chagrin, I wont have a batch of beer ready for the festival, and I probably wont be attending. Its not the climbing ill miss, thats secondary. Ill miss the jocularity and bodacious festoonery of mass proportions. I do have the beer supplies, so to ameliorate my absence, ill craft some fine brew that will be dispensed as you find time to visit/roll through/or climb with me in the future months. Again, i sincerely apologize if the hopes ive dashed are invariably tied to my beer or my presence at the ice festival, hopefully we'll get another chance to get together and rope up and hang out afterwards(whew now ill be sure i wont have to see Sharpie and his glaring bare white ass inthe hot springs either... :P)

I might just want to forget......

Also to add to the checklist.

Bubblewrap....
Cheesewiz....
Handcuffs....

Isn't is supposed to be "who" do I tie in..??

It's "Who" do we use for an anchor

note* it is entirely possible that sandbag may possibly (possibly) be swayed to come. I propose we take up a donation/collection for the keg, just to show how much we have appreciated sandbags efforts in the past and look forward to his bringing yet another truly FABOULOUS batch of brew to this brew-haha.

I'm chipping in $10. Anybody else..?? (no amount is considered too small...)

Pheenixx, youre too kind,
People of the ice festival, I beseech your good judgement and rationale and ask for nothing, no monies for my beer(its actually illegal) and wish no quarter, Im not requesting assistance, nor fishing for pity. Its just an ice festival, the ice/climbs will always be there. The people is the only thing i care about, and we'll have to find time in the near future to tag up and hang out. Again, Ms Pheenixx your kind intentions are truly undeserved at my expense, and i appreciate the thought, for that is more important than the actual act of buoying my finances to allow a weekend of frivolity that i truly didnt earn by my own doing.
Now Carry on you tool swings crampon clackin hot tub splashin Ice Festivians!

Sad to hear you're not coming Sandbag.
I guess I'll have to wait for the next gathering to meet the infamous brewmaster and sample his ware.

I'll be out of here monday, arriving same day in the Springs. Some 30 hours later yech... I do get to stop in Amsterdam though!

Dave when are you planning on heading back? Want to carpool?
As for the weekend I up for anything and everything!

As for the Bubblewrap, Cheesewiz, Handcuffs and 1 Snorkel. You're scaring me! may have to sleep with my eyes open!

Looks like the weather may not be as pleasant as last year.

Current 10-day forecast says cold and snowy everyday:

Ice climbing in the cold, ridiculous, I protest!

Aw, heck, Sharpie... you oughta know that the weather in the San Juans can change faster than a Southern Redneck can drop his britches off when Sally Marie says "Lordy, I'm soooo drunk."

I'll wait till the 11th, then check weather again.
