Damn, I'd almost get that hat if it wasn't for the shipping price. Anyone else catch the little jab at the US economy?

I have the concipients of both the " Renos Relocation Rendezvous Bitter Dirt barbie Blond" and the "Sept Shelf Road Serendipity Stout" on the counter as i type, im cleaning the glassware and getting ready for an epic 2 batch brewing day. I only hope, nay pray that i can make it up to the Ice festival, otherwise ill have to slowly dispose of these elixirs of the god/goddesses alone or in close company as the winter slowly thaws out...... Happy New Year Ya'll

Its fun to know people truly do enjoy my beer. Makes the very process of creating it fantastic!

OK, I'm IN! Got shifts at work swapped, covered, and traded. I will be leaving PHX on Wednesday morning, arrive in that Utopian of Ice, Ouray, that afternoon. Arrive in G. Jct. at 3:56 pm. Anyone else arriving around that time? Wanna share a ride? Skibs, count me as a "Fo Sho" for setup. 12 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10 Days till I arrive! Bring on the snow... bring on the ice... bring on the frozen fingers, runny snot on my upper lip, and the cold ice down the back of my shell. Bring.... it.... on. Anyone willing to swing up to Grand Junction on Wednesday and pick me up? I'm trying to avoid a rental car, as I don't want to spend the extra $$ (that would mean less money for beer, food, and ice babes.) If not, I've got a ride later that night.... around 6:30 or so, which would put me in Ouray around 9 pm.

Reno I'll be happy to pick you up if it's feasable. What time will you get in? Right now my plans are to leave Estes Park Weds AM unless a buddy of mine decides to come along and then I'll be picking him up Thursday sometime wherever he flies into. I'll keep you posted. Mike

In reply to: Just like the members of this group, this is about the time everyone else starts to let reality interfere with climbing plans....Call the Vic (800-846-8729) or BCL (800-327-5080), they most likely will start to see some cancellations over the next two weeks. http://www.batte.org/ouray.htm It's almost here!!!! Has anyone tried to call the Vic or BCL? Based on what they told me at the Vic last year, they almost always have some rooms that open up and become available when the manufacturers drop their blocked off rooms...

No worries Dave, those climbing in the park will most likely be travleing in packs. Since there is so much to climb, it's nice to be out with a group so you can take breaks... I'm happy to climb with anybody anyday.

In reply to: In reply to: . I'm happy to climb with anybody anyday. Let's hook up for a route or two. Hey zozo - count me into the pack 'o climbers on Thurs. There are no clinics that day so I'm free. I've also got a brand nu Mamut dry rope to try out that ni-ice Santa left for me... Maybe I'll be kickin' you around on the floor anyway - so we'll roll out onto the ice together heh-heh. OOps - not sure if it's a pets place. Were you bringing Madison..?
