In reply to: You just want pizza girl on you lap feeding you from the palm of her hand... Now Sharpie... Do you really think I'm so shallow as to try something that backhanded and devious? I mean really... why would I try such a thing (other than the chance to give her buns a little squeeze, smell her lovely phermones, gaze longingly into those baby blues, and let her tell me how macho she thinks I am...)? So again, I ask you: Why would I do such a thing? Nay, sir... I'm fully prepared to take one for the RC.com team. Yessir... a team player, that's me.

I'd like to see, and perhaps with a little motivation from my friends participate in, a New Belgium chug-a-lug contest.

Never slacked, To old/fat to speed, I'd max at about 12 pull ups, Food would be my only hope Obi-wan-kenobi. skibbs speed-slacking with only pasites on and beer. I'd pay $$ to see that.

i, too, have never slacked. in fact, i have trouble not tripping walking my kids to the bus stop. i couldn't challenge reno right now eating. i do wonder if this is some fear factor eating contest, though. i can probably do around 30-35 pull ups. if someone can top it, be my guest. i could probably speed climb pretty well, but don't know for sure. and anything with o.p. stickers can't be that bad... r.r.

In reply to: 6 days and still holding it together. Even managed to get through an evening at the local tavern, eating oysters, drinking beer, and watching IU/UNC game without smoking. Ain't easy, but if this is what it takes, then... Nice job Reno! Keep it up It's the best thing you can do for yourself!!!

What the heck, gang? Nothing to say for 5 days, almost? Don't tell me this group has fallen silent and doesn't have anything to say. Are we climbers of ice, or are we a bunch of monks with silence vows?

In reply to: Hmmm, let's see. I spent the majority of this morning digging myself out from under a foot of snow. But I've been sharpening my tools tightening my harness curling my rope and polishing my pasties. How ironic... I've been sharpening my skills... tightening my ... well, you know... curling some toes... and getting my tool polished.
