Shit, sorry. We're still trying to work out if we'll go the Creke or Hueco route, which will effect NoiZ plans. Are you doing anything for Xmas? I'll definitely be around at that thyme. Only thing I'm committed to fore Christmas is driving to teh land northward (U-tuh county) xmas eve day, spending teh night with teh folks, then back home xmas day. Don't have a lot of work lined up and moar than likely will have time that weak to do sum vertical nature hikes. Have ewe got my cell? If you guys are nice and I don't have another roomy by then, you can pull up carpet in my guest room for a couple days. I think the Russian will be there too Wait, you know some other Russians? :) I thought you were Georgian. There's a difference? True story: a few months ago Wobliver posted a link to some buzzfeed photo collection of photos of 'Russia from 100 years ago". Couple of them were of Georgia (and other places definitely not Russian). So I jokingly said, something like, haha, the caption of picture number X would get you punched in Tbilisi, it's definitely not Russia! Someone questioned me about it, and we had a long discussion of whether a picture taken in India during the British domination time could be titled "photo of England from 100 years ago", or whether it would be more accurate to say "photo of the Princely States of India at the time of British Empire protectorate". Wobliver just took offence, because he thought I was proposing to punch him. But anyway, the answer for me is: not Russian. And not Georgian. Because yore now an 'Merikin mutt like teh rest ov us? Well, that too, yes, I am an American like the rest of you... (except for those two pesky Canadians) but I meant no, as in, I would never be referred to as Russian OR Georgian in Russia or in Georgia, even though at some point I held those citizenships. Not even when I held Russian citizenship would anyone in Russia have ever called me Russian. Because there a statement such as "I am Georgian", or Russian, etc., refers to ethnicity, not nationality. And I am not ethnically either Russian, or Georgian. Homo sovietus? You can take a girl out of Russia... I mean, USSR... but you can't... shit! I am a commie. Ve have ways ov breaking ewe. Even ewe can't do it long distance. But as long as you keep bailing, I am pretty safe.

I was on crutches, but had the state championship dive meet. I was too stubborn to sit it out. My dad filled a 5 gallon bucket with ice for me to ice it between dives. But I had to hobble over to the diving board on crutches and set them down, then dive, get out of the pool, pick them up and hobble back over to the ice bucket. It was probably one of the dumbest things I've ever done. I'd do it again. I also came in second by less than one point. Go kick ass Becca! They'll give you crazy looks, but who cares.

Just to be clear, I was not criticising. I've done a similar thing (wear a brace on a hike, take the brace off, climb, put the brace back, hobble to the next climb). But i think it looks more dramatic with a cane or crutches. At one of Alisa's gymnastics meets, one of the girls was competing with a broken toe. OUCH!
