So be it! - Daniel

Guess the local government doesn't agree with parliament... no, wait... aren't those two the same in Finland? :D

All right. Did so. What can I say? I've known Klingons for all my life. Another proof of the theory that you just have to wait 15 years for the new generation of braindead youngsters, and you can sell them the same shit again. http://club.ntu.edu.tw/...b/class317/apoc3.jpg

Shiny Monday folks! Too exhausted to post? I thought you'd kill each other for the previledge to rub the fantastic weekend under my nose. Should you all be much nicer than I thought? At least you could post some compromising pix or such :( I spent the whole weekend with the attempt of getting sore without getting wet. Succeeded so far as I get some minor climbing done before I drowned. And my neck hasn't seen such soreness for a long, long time - Duncker DJ's were fabulous on Friday :D I almost banged my head off! Have a nice week, I'll see you Friday!?! - Daniel

Here you go: Taz, Paolo, Heiko and Luna Nascente Not to forget uasunflower and her partner: you did some serious climbing with the Kundalini+Luna Nascente link-up in one day. Respect :!: How on earth did you manage to descend in the dark? It was friggin complicated in full daylight! Would have liked to talk more about the climb with you, but you were off without a word in the morning

hey, heiko, sorry for leaving w/o a word - it was too early and i thought i already told you good bye  yup it was a great 4 days despite my wide-eyed and foggy state today! After two long days in val di mello (although not as long as taz's  ) we left for Arco, where i have never been before. I also had this crazy idea of attempting a route in the Dolomites. Probably fortunately for me we were so tired after the third day that we decided to stay in Arco due to the convenience and the 10-min approach. Thus we got to the top of both, Rocca Secca and Monte Colodri. At the end of the day i chose the wrong descent trail and got down on the other side of the mountain, but a very nice italian driver brought us back to the campsite. Oh, and 0,5l of gatorade per person was def. too little for that last climb - very beautiful but very demanding Zanzara. We finished the day with numerous suco di mello in the near-by pizzeria. Finally we got up at 4 today and i was at work at 12...until now  in conclusion - 1600 meters or 48 pitches in 4 days on granite and limestone of excellent quality in one of the most climbing-prone places i've been to with some awesome people gets all thumbs up from me. Both sorry and congratulations for our brave trio on their adventure! I still have your val di mello map and guidebook btw.

oh, and that descent from luna was def. a fun little experience! We had to do one rappel to find the lower-part trail - and we stumbled upon it more by pure miracle than orientation sense, and afterwards there was some scary downclimbing with headlamp and sandals...I believe we were on top at around 8 30 pm and had a bit more sunlight then you guys for the first part, the second part just sucked. We didn't have any parties on Luna (we started it pretty late - around 3 pm) and it was some exciting climbing there! I loved that off-width-downclimbing traverse that i got to lead as well as the slab traverse on top, pretty fun! Kundalini was awesome too, especially the frist 5-6 pitches following a sloping roof. Afterwards there was another slab traverse - even scarrier for me then the one on Luna, and then some more slab pitches i didn't exactly like, but overall it's a great way to get the 700 meters of climbing.

Ciao, seems like a nice climbing for all of you! Nice photos, it is always nice to see what other people are up to! I was in Sweden for a longer weekend and also did some Swedish trad-climbing with my brother. Read the topo wrong since we wanted to to a bolted route first, I though it was S5 but I could not come more than one meter?? Then we realized it was much harder rated, it was nice for me :D The worst part is that all my climbing stuff is lost during todays flight  I hope they will find it.....
