If you pass the buck, he would probly get an answer sooner. Bwa ha ha ha!! Btw where will the beer slide be located? I'm not worried about a few wv ninja gaurds. I'll even help fill it. No, not with recycled either.

Thanks j_ung. Yeah I was just bored at work and remembered last year my buddy brought me back a bumper sticker, but what I really wanted was a helmet sticker....they turned out pretty badass and if nobody has a problem I'll make some more (not 700)

Well, it's not definite, but it's most likely a no on the stickers. Word is we have about a zillion of them, and every single one will fit on a helmet nicely. We don't need no stinking sticker competition! Edit: ours are free, too, by the way.

So even a little rain didn't ruin what turned out to be a sweet weekend. Jenny and I had a blast all weekend. Dragging my ass to work this morning was a bitch though. Both of our clinics were great, Malcolm really gave me a better sense how anchors should be built and how to achieve better placements. Looking forward to trying some stuff out next weekend @ Seneca. I gotta give some serious props to some people (some names I remember, some I don't) First, there was a lady with shoulder length kinda-curly hair that from what I saw ran the show. She was constantly making thing run smoother or talking to people/helpin them out. If anyone knows who I'm talking about please thank her for me. Next, the Park Service who let the party go down with little heat. I did have one creep up on me in my tent, I think he smelled my neighbors "inscense". Patagonia for the awesome vegeterian grub saturday. Malcolm and Chris Lidner for putting on great clinics. The MT. Hardware rep for giving me awesome advice on buying a new tent/softshell. All the other vendors for putting up with my obsessive gear-head questions. Everyone who attended for not drunkenly stumbling into my tent. I guess I should mention I snapped a tent pole setting up friday and had to McGyver it up with a tire pressure gauge and some athletic tape. I planned on taking a bunch of pics but forgot to. I'm sure dbrayack got some good ones. See ya all next year!!!!

Ok, I will personally donate one shrutebuck to the craziest story from the rendezvous this year. Ill start things off with waking up sunday morning to find someone who I don't know sleeping next to me. I still have no idea who it was.

I got home Friday night and found that, of the twelve or so parking spaces we have in our driveway, there was not one available. There were still people I never met camped on my front porch as of yesterday. They appear to be gone now, though. Oo! Oo! Howabout when the drummer from the band walked into the woods to take a leak and fell off a cliff? Seriously!

The girl getting her lip busted in sumo pad was kinda wicked too. The funniest thing I heard was @Bob Evans in Summersville on the way home. Customer: Did you notice all the strange looking people around lately? Waitress: There is some big hippy festival this weekend, Customer: Hippies? Someone should report them. Waitress: Report them for what? Customer: Well I'm sure they are up to no good. Waitress: Definately. I almost pissed myself. Edited b/c my wife corrected the conversation.

She and her husband own Waterstone. She is an awesome lady. Her email address is on the event website. Shoot an email. No doubt it will make her forget at least one of the obstacles they had. My favorite new addition? That wash station with the hot water! You didn't even mind going up there and cleaning the dishes.

Thx boo. I figure it's the least I could do in respect of all her effort. The wash stations were pretty nice. So this was my 1st Rendezvous, how did everyone who had been before like the changes?

I think last year was more fun because of the whole mayhem factor. But this year was better because it ran more smoothly. It was nice to roll in at 1am Saturday and still have a parking spot and not have to park at the bridge area and walk up like last year. I got food without a ridiculously long line, and the beer slide was always flowing. Odub made a great emcee as well.

I'm pretty sure that there weren't 700 people there either. My bet is the rain/gas prices kept some people @ home. Also, someone made a turd mural in one of the porta-potties....some sick shit.....literally.

I know at least 5 people that told me they signed up but then didn't go, only one of whose spot was given to someone else. The Rendezvous was a blast though, despite the rain. Made friends with some cool people, and met even more. I was there until almost everyone was gone on Sunday and I didn't see any trash rolling around so it seemed like the no waste initiative worked pretty well.
