Can I call it the Sandbox for now on instead of JT, JTree, Josh or what ever anyone else wants to call it? :roll: They call the Valley the Ditch, I think we need a new nick name name for JTree (notice I said JTree just to drive you nuts?), the Sandbox has a nice ring to it. Anyone else got any suggestions?

We call it The Wasteland. Short for Low-Angle Wasteland. See murf's posts for a fuller exposition.
J Tree is all ambiance; the Quarry and NJC are all climbing. It's hard to get both at the same crag. Ok, maybe Echo Cliffs, but it's almost always too hot there.

Oh please... Sport Climbing *starts* at 5.12. If you put Spiderline on top of the Beaver, then you might have something. The real reason no decent sport climber spends time at JT is the good routes are too far from the car.

See, this is the reason why traddies never get any good. They have to *try* and use minimal gear, rather than be limited to the bolts they are given. The Beaver would make an OK sport route with maybe 5 bolts... pretty short though. That's a good idea jcrew.
