This should get good, and hopefully 'wideguy' will post his '4 pic photo essay', as that actually inspired me to make this post. They really do change everything, don't they ??? I'll start... Here a few, OK, a lot of pics of my little buggers... Justice, now 3: Thinks he's Bob Villa Summer time, in the LBC... At the beach Almost 2, getting his dog With pops in the spa Being lengthened His first halloween @ 8 months Immediately followed by his first leaf His first boulder problem... He pulled the 'sit start', but didn't top out. @ 6 months His first hanging bivy, at only 2 weeks old Sage, now 1: Getting some time in with Justice's toys before he could say, "no mine baby!" Teaching him the bad habits early Being good Karen (i.karen), easily the better half, and the kids I was gonna even attach some at the bottom, but I figured that's too many anyways. Let's see your's.

rrradam wrote: Looks like you've done a good jobb, Robb. Any tips for a relatively new Dad ??? sure. remember, you asked. 1. there's no manual, and the motives of anyone who tells you that there is are immediately suspect, even mine. 2. Children are PEOPLE, just like adults. You want them to respect you? treat them like people. 3. admit your mistakes, especially unwarranted anger or impatience. 4. don't be arbitrary in your decisions 5. Don't shield them from adult issues. Otherwise, they'll never learn how to deal with them, or will develop incomplete knowledge. Expect them to understand, though you'll often need to explain at their level of understanding. 6. Take everyting I've written above with a large grain of salt. beyond that, you're on your own. 7. Love them unconditionally, always. DO NOT expect it to be returned.

Not to mention that they are a size too big... Kids are crazy! That day she just wouldn't let the fridge alone .She kept trying it over and over and over... It was like a major project. Now? She couldn't care less. Been there, done that, fridge is not interesting anymore.
