Yet another new low in my life. Just back from several long days of choss fighting on the steepest, shity, junk you can imagine(high point) sit down at my desk and fire up the computer and instead of going to porn, where do I go? I mean my first girlfriend from when I was a freshman in college. You know the ones you really liked, when you were young and stupid... well, not that I have gotten any smarter since. She searched me out on the internet, found out that I climbed. Figured out and searched my "known" user names. Joined this site and sent me a pm/earfull from 30 years ago. I always thought everything was cool, we just moved away and went to different colleges.

Did you notice that all my ascents are listed as Redpoints? Incomplete as it is, it's a fuking check off list, that I haven't looked at or updated for quite sometime. Sorry, I'm not as anal as you are, I did not distinguish between onsights, flash, quick rp's, heavely worked rp's or fa rp's. I guess if I only had a handfull of difficult route under my belt like you, I might keep better records, I doubt it though. As it is I have done hundreds of fa's rp's on difficult routes and hundreds more onsight/flash/rp's on other people's difficult routes. If I get really bored or drunk maybe I'll update it for you, but don't hold your breath waiting.
As I recall, Joe Hedge hung the route, Ben Banks did it first try, I did it first try, Joe then did it. We then moved over to the steep 13a that has no hard moves. So feel free to check my facts and call my ascent anything you want.
As far as how hard JS is, don't really care. Again call it what ever you want to. At 12a, I thought it was soft. I don't know who your "better climbers" are, that couldn't onsight it and again, don't care. Lots of factors go into climbing well on any given day, maybe your "better climbers" had a off day. Maybe they were not used to the area. Bear Crag is good but has not seen a lot of ascents by climbers that are well traveled. The area is known to be soft, but then you would have known that, if you were a little more well traveled.

This stupid thread.(low point) I'm such a loser. I'm like the dog that returns to it's own vomit. Then I notice I have new messages, Christ, just what I need, more hate mail.... I click on it and it's a message from my old girlfriend. I don't mean last weeks or last seasons girlfriend or the one from two years ago or the one ten years before that one or any of the others. I mean my first girlfriend from when I was a freshman in college. You know the ones you really liked, when you were young and stupid... well, not that I have gotten any smarter since. She searched me out on the internet, found out that I climbed. Figured out and searched my "known" user names. Joined this site and sent me a pm/earfull from 30 years ago. I always thought everything was cool, we just moved away and went to different colleges. FUKING GIRLS?????? Thank God she has no idea what my unknown user names are, the trouble I have caused or the cess pools that I have hung out in where the real shit goes down. She only found this plain white bread straight up vanilla site.(got lucky there) Fuking stalkers!!!!
