I've been hanging off the rafters with them for the past few days.. Trying to get a partner for NH on sunday. How far from NH are you? Bet there is some good ice around there. When I was in Rumney I saw some flows around there about 4 hours from rumney, but i am going to visit family tomorrow and figure i may make a weekend of it. Lucky bastard. Have fun and I hope you get someone to climb with you. Woohoo! I may have found a partner for sunday.

If they do 100 pages (which is very likely) then it negates the GU guideline. Someone will then have to summarize for you. I keep meaning to do that but keep forgetting to so what's the point of myspace if you set everything private then? Isn't the whole deal to connect with people? Why would anybody connect with you if they know you and see you anyways? Because they are dorks. ZING

She was the only person of our generation that remembers that great grandmother. I evidently met that great grandmother but was crapping my diapers regularly. Shitting your pants is 2 much of a distraction to remember meeting someone a few years ago? I was shitting my pants in rage. The rage was the distraction.

I dont mind burning forearms but I hate being cold layers and waterproof will be important words for you. You will enjoy it. Especially the first trip out. There is a lot of sitting around and chilling in the snow if you are top roping. (Same as top roping rock) You must climb with n00bs. indeed ...that one trip out with 2 sets of boots and one set of tools was with a relative noob. The one 'experienced' ice climber had led probably only about 10 routes. I couldn't see that trip as a multipitch trip...we were having to swap too many things.

chossmonkey wrote: obsessed wrote: artm wrote: obsessed wrote: In other news and for when the monkeys get to NS and start reading this...I went to see Calvin last night with my son. Calvin was happy to see us. He had eaten all his food and one whole water dish in the basement. We played on the climbing wall and put Calvin up on top to watch us. But it must have been the wrong spot where he can get down, because he couldn't get down. He was stuck. And he didn't want me to grab him. So I had to have brent stand on a chair and lean over, then pat his back so Calvin would jump on him. I forgot he had claws! Brent yelled and I laughed so hard! We got lucky too, I guess the guy across the road used the snow blower! Brent brushed off your truck Nathan. And there was no mail there! Don't you guys have any bills? Maybe the neighbour picked up the mail? Going to go back after Tuesday and climb more. Have to take some allergy pills first though, i couldn't breath. And more plastic! Isn't Calvin an asshole? haha funny story, guess you got lucky with the neighbors saving you the trouble of shoveling the walk. Ha. I think the monkeys have described Calvin as an asshole. He sure does have attitude. He was happy to see us, but it didn't take long before I could tell he was wanting us to leave. Once he got down from the roof he pretty much ignored us. He didn't even want to play with the lazer pointer after that. How would you like ti if we put you up on a ledge wher you couldn't get down? I would probably have a undying urge to run after a laser pointer.

Goddamn, I was wishing that we had snowshoes whne we were in Quebec. The snow was deep there! How was her majesty's land? You mean Quebec? It was fuckin' sweet!! We are hopefully going to hit some stuff up at Gaspe and then spend one more day at Pont Rouge on the way home. Hopefully the river will be frozen at PR. I'm super excited to get back out there later in the year too. We just need to find two more people to drive from toronto with to split gas and a hotel room. Here are a couple of pics of Bec at PR. sweet pics
