I'm about done here for tonight and the next few days. Hopefuly we will find some sweet ice to climb. It is right next to the ocean so it will be like a cold version of where Art is going.

Have a good time and safe trip home. I am heading to your place tomorrow with the kids to see Calvin and climb in the basement. Will take my camera for some pics too.
if they aren't in the next couple of pages...you should post some of them.

I didn't end up taking my camera. We were stopping at the mall after and I didn't want to leave it in the truck, or lug it around with me.

indeed, he should be gone. I hope he has a great trip. I want to see pics of that trip here too.

When you get to the part about his trip blog or whatever that link is...you will see that we will be able to see pics as he goes.

w00t!!! Art!!!
No that's just snoop making stuff up again, like being King of the BET
I didn't vote for him.
Nobody did

That's correct. All I said was "who died and made you king" and he ran with it.
Well first he lied and claimed that Nathan made him king.
Then you ratted him out to chossy and chossmacaque changed the thread title to mention King Nothing and ever since then he's claimed to be king of the bet in order to get Nathan's goat.

I am sure he will wander in here sooner or later and try to correct our facts....but I do believe you are right art
He's a lawyer you can't believe anyeverything he says

Not likely. Looks like I am going to have my fill of lawyers starting Jan 7th. I got summoned to jury duty. They won't pick me for a jury though so its a waste of time
why not? Do you walk right in and say "Looks guilty to me. Are we done now?"

Because of my job. Well that used to be the case because my clients were defense lawyers and thus conflict of interest. But now I do a different job so they might pick me. Maybe I should say something to get out of it....like what you said.

Happy Holidays MB

You too Doc, o-Kel, snoop and zeke.

I already exchanged holiday wishes with the monkees before they went on vacation.

You leaving? Gunna get GUed on this but hey. Have fun in thailand.
I leave next friday.
No internet at home so I won't be posting until Wed next week
I was supposed to be back then too, but I was late
but the extra time with family was nice.
Since all of you are dying to know I will explain it here. I ended up taking 3 extra days in MD because I could. Smile I was coming back to pgh just to meet an old college friend. He called and said he could no longer meet up. So, we stayed in MD until Friday.

Friday and Saturday were filled with parties. We don't know where we will be tomorrow yet, but debauchery will be included.

We needed to know that Tongue

Yuppers. I've been hanging off the rafters with them for the past few days.. Trying to get a partner for NH on sunday.

How far from NH are you? Bet there is some good ice around there. When I was in Rumney I saw some flows around there
about 4 hours from rumney, but i am going to visit family tomorrow and figure i may make a weekend of it.

Lucky bastard. Have fun and I hope you get someone to climb with you.

Woohoo! I may have found a partner for sunday.

Did you? And why haven't you left yet?

I did, but he got kinda sick and threw up on the ride there. We aborted mission, and i walked off in search of masses of topropes. Which i found. Figgures i did about 12 or so laps on various WI2-4 stuff.

So i don't get it. Google maps tells me it is a 8 hour drive from here, but a six hour drive from new hampshire, which is 3.5 hrs away.
It gave us some weird results for the route from here to St.Anne. It said one way was quiet a bit further, but starting at a different spot it gave a different answer for the time. It ends up being pretty much the same either way we go. I think.
Every time I use google or yahoo to map something the time is usually longer than my actual driving time. Perhaps they take into account the posted maximum speed limit and calculate times that way?
they use something along the lines of the following.

small roads that are only named 25 mph
state roads 35 mph
highways 55 mph

so, they don't take into account places where you have tons of stoplights or where you have good speed limits on small roads.

I caught myself doing 70 on a few backroads.
