Our turkey almost didn't fit into the oven, it was so big. Figure it was at least a 30lbs bird. My uncle raises turkeys, so we get a ginormous free-range turkey most years. It was delicious (and is delicious.....my family will have leftovers forever!). Thats HUGE and cool that its free range. Your mom must have put that thing in at 6am!!

He jumped right in barehanded. I like to think he washed his hands first.
I do enjoy finding the leg and hip joints on the first slice with the knife. Tough to do, but satisfying.
