So very cold.
I wish I would have got a picture of the place we wanted to stay. They had a grass topped hut even. Right on the beach.

We are back a day early. We needed to head off Partygirl's big party at our place.

Is the house still standing?
Yes

the cat was out of food though.

That cat is a pig.. We were just there on Thursday and put 7 days worth in his dish. geesh btw I never cleaned kitty litter before. It's no treat

You are spoiled. Gah, sounds like a fancy camera, how big is it? I had a nice Cannon SLR with a couple of zoom lenses, but I stopped carrying it 'cause it was too big. I like my Cannon digital, fairly small, decent zoom , I actually bring it when I'm out doing things. Biggest problem is not the zoom, but that it's nor very wide. But what I has is starting to get old. New point and shoot digi cams can be much better for wider images.

I'm not an expert by any means, but I know a little about cameras. I'm looking forward to seeing yours.
She can be the new photo girl.

I'll need someone to take pictures of me for the magazines.

*huge eye roll*
Oh come on, I'm sure you will do okay with that big fancy camera, if in fact you ever take it out climbing. When you are doing the photo shoots you will be to busy snapping photos to be climbing so it really won't be taking your camera out climbing. As the photog you will get to keep the money you get from the magazines. I get the publicity and sponsorships.

I would rather be climbing than taking photos. Nice try though
Do you think you will be able to climb on the way sick gnar?

damn straight. well...maybe

the book is self coached climber. I can't believe I forgot.

Anyways, we had to return the DVD player yesterday. Our TV is 26 years old. It is so old that it can't choose its own channels. So, the vcr or dvd player needs a tuner. When we were returning the TV, we decided to get a TV with a DVD included. We spent WAY more on ourselves this year then we should have.
[image]http://www.pricescan.com/ItemImages/ImagesL/531788.jpg[/image]

Today, we will be rearranging our furniture with the new TV and cabinet. We may end up having to return the TV at this point though. The audio output isn't working with my receiver. (The output is digital, and I need the analog red and white output. I will probably have to read a little on the interweb and go to radio shack.)
Huh? Why does it need a tuner? You could have run the DVD through the VCR. I would run my PS2 to my old TV that was ancient.
a tuner allows me to watch channels. It picks them out of all the data in the cable. I am passing on the VCR to my mom. So, I won't have a tuner without the VCR.

The DVD player that we were talking about here had DVD/VCR capabilities but no tuner. Hence me getting rid of my old VCR.

We don't have voice mail on our cell. Also you only need a second or two of service to send an receive them. Useful when you actually get out climbing and there is no service.
I had my texting services cut off at one point because I was getting spam texts. I have it on now, but don't use it.

Do you save money by not having voicemail?

It was 28 hours or so to get to AZ from WI. I've drove it straight several times.

Doesn't sound like fun. And you are fuckin toasted for a day or two after that.
Leave in the evening so you drive the night while you are fresh. Arrive at your destination before dark. Got to bed and sleep in a little and you are good to go the next day.
I guess you have better planning then me and my wife.

Kind of hard to have the rabbits eat nonexistant veggies, so it is kind of a mute accomplishment.

I liked you better when you were praising my efforts. And haven't you seen snow rabbits and ice wine grapes???

I don't think I could enjoy it. I couldn't bare to communicate with people through so much typing.

Nothing about enjoyment. Its about not having to pay for a stupid voice message system that we kept forgetting to check.

Maybe you should just call?

Or post here.

Or show up for your party that we came home early to put a stop to.

I should have. But then I read on here you were home. So I didn't have to do any of the above.
You notice the one new hold brent put in the wall?

We haven't really been down in the basement much since we got home. Mostly to use the second washroom down there, and Nathan put up a sign he stole from Pont Rouge and last year's FestiGlace.

O Noes!!! We'll have to see how the boots actually fit you. On the bright side, it looks like they were cheaper than even that girl said they'd be, so if they really caused you pain you could always resell them.

Here's hoping that some thinner socks and being able to tighten them enough will allow you to keep your toe nails. On the bright side I'm starting to realize that my boots don't fit very well and I still have all my toe nails!

yea, she had a string of losers. One guy she dated graduated college and immediately started working at the go-kart track. He was still working there when she broke up with him.
So she was jealous that he had a cool job?

Go Kart Track? Fuck yeah.

I got to drive a go-kart wearing drunk goggles. Did pretty well... Only hit two cones.
given a full minute with drunk goggles, you can get pretty used to the effects.

Not very accurate.
