Hey Kev, long time. the weather is supposed to be PRIME this weekend. all forecasts call for climbing-friendly sunny goodness. I'll be at college one or both days this weekend, if you're interested. Harsh, wanna come out? ;-)

Welcome Jenny (Jen). I'm a mother with a 2 1/2 year old. I'm a newbie too! I live in Andover and climb when I can (when dad or my 'rents can watch her). I PM'ed you. I'm happy to climb with you any time!

Stupid sandbagged V0's  newgirl... do you ever climb at Denrock? I've only been there once, but I'd like to try to get there a few times this season. I work in Billerica and its a pretty easy drive after work. Kevin

Elron - there is a great boulder in Harold Parker State forest. It's in Andover/N. Andover accessible via rte 125. I'd be happy to show you sometime. Its usually very quiet. I've only seen someone there once or twice, but it's a nice smooth rock to play on. Be happy to show you sometime! Yes. Flexdex mentioned once that he goes to Den Rock. Only problem is it can be VERY crowded. Last night it was pretty quiet though.

Kathy, yeah, there are trails all around there that see a good deal of mtn bike traffic, as well as hikers. not sure exactly how far the trail sytem goes, but I do know you can get to milford from there, and I believe Holliston too. just lemme know. I'm going to be there climbing for a while both days most likely, roped up one day and then just working the traverse the other.

I'll have a better idea tomorrow, on whether or not I can make it. Do you know if there's any water around there? a pond? anything?

Yeah there's a pond nearby, on the other side of rte 85 from college st (you can see it thru the trees), as well as a water filled abandonded quarry in the woods farther down on the north side of 85 towards milford. I've never been to either. there's a couple other ponds in mliford near there too.

god - damn this website sucks asscrumbs. weather.com forecasts a high of 72 on Sunday, which means I gotta get out one way or another. who's climbing, and where? I think I'll bring a rope, my harness, some prusiks, and take pics. If interested in my 'services', PM me. Note that I do not currently own a camera, so someone will have to bring one. Oh and by the way.... Groove of the Day plays the Kirkland tomorrow night at 9pm!!! Come by and git grooved. http://www.grooveoftheday.com has more info.

Jake, after 5 both days I'm commited. or I should be commited. let's talk about this more in PMs. we'll get it worked out. shoulda skipped that rumney day a few weeks ago pal ;-) Harsh, hope you come out, just let me know what day. I'm playing hooky today actually, finish oldest daughter's taxes, and get some good time in on the climbing wall extension. yesterday I bought a 7-pack of metolius holds and they've noticably changed the character of the wall, already. Many more problem possibilities. Jeff, wanna come out to CR sunday? have a great gig!
