mass majority of climbers are low-key, happy people because deep down inside we all know that the rock will always win-so why beat your head against it or anything else. (nice does not apply for the first 30 min out of the bag in the morning)

I think it's a trust issue. Climbers know that if they are a jackass they are not going to get far because they will run out of people who trust them. besides that, I'm usually so excited to be at the rock, I think everyone seems even nicer than they really are. phyre

Climbers are so nice, but only when they've been marinateing for over 24 hours and slow roasted over a misquite fire. MMMMMM, finger licking good.

This begs the question, "Why do so many people get pissed at each other on this site?"

Perhaps they're not really mad.. maybe ther're just trying out some new words, or trying to egg someone else on... But back to the thread, why are we so great again?

Hey, it's true. climbers are the superior race in terms of niceness. Particularly ME. And we're all very attractive as well. Particularly ME. The can't keep their eyes offa me.... BUT; There are many hidden among us now who are complete anti-climbers. These people climb, often hard, and have no sense of altruism whatsoever. They are not actually climbers; they are KARMA VAMPIRES..... OOzingpustule is in fact one such Karma Vampire. LOOK OUT!! he has fangs, and is dangerous.

A nice climber needs a side of father beans and glass of red wine to complete the meal. Th-Th-Th-Th-Th(toung action).

mightymucklebunk "why do people get so pissed off on this site" Compared to other sites this is really tame. Usually you know you're on a bad site when most of the regular posters start disappearing and the police can't find any trace of them. But, this site is pretty good. Someone from this site just mailed me a hand carved wooden box along with a envlope filled with their manifesto. I havn't gotten around to opening the box yet, but I can imagine that it is filled with the good things that only the good people from this site can make. BTW, who is Una

Crap, you need to talk to some of my friends who thought it was nuts to drive down to meet addroids and elcapbuzz. Climbing's all about taking risks! But then again, I went climbing with jmlangford, and he pulled out a gun.

Isn't it nice when climbers can come together and show each other their guns. If only they could do this in Isreal. Cumbya.

I think the biggest reason is because of shared experiences. Only climbers know the feelings that one gets from climbing. Also, as stated before, it has to do with the fact that you are trusting someone else with your life and vice versa.
