Dude, ULTIMATE FRISBEE, I know it sounds lame, but it's really fun, hard, exciting and potentially painfull when played barefoot. And I backpack, and canoe and am trying to find someone to show me how to kayak and go sky diving.

I whitewater kayak, snowboard, backpack(not to extreme). who ever said that whitewater kayaking is not extreme is full of something. I put it above rock climbing. taking 40' drops in a kayak is great.

Cycling. Actually, cycling is my main thing. Both road and mountain. I am always trying to find time to climb because of training rides.

mountain biking, skydiving (as often as I can afford it), and bridge jumping- I love to find high bridges with a sufficient bit of water under 'em, climb up the structure, and jump- if you do, don't let your arms hand straight out- SMACK!! Never jump into anything you can't see into- lots of water hides wicked nasties.

For me freeriding around the world is the ultimate xtrem sport. Hiking snowy volcanos in Argentina, dropping helicopter in Alaska (yes sometimes I'm lazy), mountainering in the Alpes, sleeping by -30 celcius in a van in Canada,... that's what I feel extrem... But there's an other ultimate xtrem sport on this planet... Chicks hunting!!! That one scare me everytime!!!

Mountain Biking, Wake Boarding, Slalom Skiing, Scuba Diving, Spear Fishing, Skate Boarding, not too good at it though, I just love cruising away from the rent-a-cops. Done Bungi jumping at Vic Falls in Zimbabwe and the white water rafting 3 times now, will go back and do that again, the one time I did it was for a local TV show here in S.A. called Getaway Show. Rock on.

I'm a whitewater raft guide on the James River in Richmond, I mountain bike, snorkel, am getting ready to be SCUBA certified when I go out to Hawaii next week. I also like to take my mountain bike out around Richmond at night and see what kind of trouble I can get into riding it down stairs, off ledges, over things, etc etc etc. We call it "urban biking". Mountain bike, snowboard, track, trail "blaze", windsurf, spelunking and scuba diving, but I don't really consider any of those extreme. I would like to try skydiving and bungee jumping though!

Allow me to say that I HATE the term 'extreme'. What exactly constitutes the definition? Is it adreneline? The rush? I do not climb for a 'rush.' The reason that I do any of my hobbies (jazz guitar, river running, climbing, whatever) is because they are about PROBLEM SOLVING and IMPROVEMENT, not adreneline. 'Extreme' implies out-of control daredevilry, NOT the calculated, skill-based risks that all good climbers make. I am getting very annoyed with the 'mountain dew' image that the media is giving the beautiful climbing lifestyle. If you want an extreme sport, go bungee jump or ride a roller coaster. These are cheap thrills that require little or no skill, and polar opposites of climbing.
