Was wondering if anyone has had any recurring pain in finger joints? Even after taking a few weeks off to relieve it, the minute I return to the wall, the stress/pressure on the same joint comes back (though there is no strain on connecting tendons). I tape up and take glucosamine, but any other advice?

Thanks.

drink water. Drink lots of water. The pulleys in you joints are sensitive to moisture, and if they are fully hydrated they function much better and heal quicker. If your joints ever lock up....STOP CLIMBING and go to an orthopedic surgen. It will only get worse. also, make sure you tape it correctly......http://www.rockclimbing.com/articles/index.php?id=46
I hope I could help.
