Does any of you fellow boulder/climbers have any tips on keeping my strength up while having a rather large cast on my foot caused by a rather large fall???

Well, you could do deadhangs, but don't train for strength, just maintain endurance... and pullups, things like that, just make sure you can let yourself down really easily so you don't fall over or screw up something else...

dharmacase, Im in the same boat. I fell last week and broke my foot. Next week Im planning on going to the gym and try to climb just using one foot. I dont know if its the best way but I think it will at least keep my upper body/hands working. Im only going to top rope routes and NO bouldering. I dont want to risk any further injuries. Also, I plan on doing more hangbaord workouts at home. jk
