If I were dedicated enough to follow the recommendations of many, and go to the gym three times a week to do 60 minute ARC sessions, I think I'd collapse from sheer boredom. Someone should really invent an apparatus that allows you to complete an ARC workout from the couch. Maybe something like a hangboard mounted on a lat pull down machine's bar. then you could adjust the weight on the lat machine to your liking, grab hold of the board, and just alternate hand positions for next 60 minutes while watching futurama re-runs. obviously there are design issues with my approach (such as how the board would balance with only one hand on it...and then there's trying to find a lat machine that matches the existing living room furniture). Still i think there is a solution out there. maybe rock rings supported by elastic tubing hung from the ceiling? maybe a chair suspended from a handboard with elastic tubing?

Usually when I ARC one out from the couch, it hits someone in the face/neck/shoulders/breasts.
