I hurt myself today. Yikes. I waw setting at the gym that I work at. I think its my, Extensor digitorum, but I don't know! I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them. I think it the muscle and I was wondering what to do.

It hurts a bit when I am typing, CLIMBING...of course, and doing things like squeezing a bottle of honey.

Anyone got anything for me.

zenyatta, your description sounds more like a flexor dig. injury, rather than extensor dig.

This is based on pain with flexion motions.

Treatment for muscle strain consists of rest, followed by range of motion, until pain free. Pay attention to how much time it takes for the pain to go away, then wait that long again, then start back in again, gradually. Probably 3-6 weeks, depending on severity and your own propensity for healing.
