Yea i saw that video too, where they warm up doing one arms and flash a v11. I was like, paul robinson can do a one arm too? word. At this point sharma has got to be able to do one, i'd be surprised if he cant. I don't think dave graham can do one tho. I was bored today watching jimmy webb and brion voges videos from LRC, and i read that voges was doing some crazy pull-up training that involved doing "frenchies" with one arm. It made me think that alot of these v10+ boulderers can do one arms no problem. Inspiring for sure, makes me want to step my game up.

The only time that I've been able to do a one arm pull up was when I had a broken wrist with a fairly long recovery. The other arm got super strong doing all the work I guess...

If you guys were real climbers, you would know that the official rock climbing rule book states on page 15 that it is impossible to climb 5.14 without being able to do a one-arm pullup. No exceptions.

Hey, if you were a real climber you'd know that they are more of guidelines than actual rules. See, ya missed the whole part where climbers are pirates.

to train for 1 arm pull ups, do offset pull ups. fwiw, i have heard that if you can do 30 pull ups (2 hands), then you should be able to do at least one 1 handed pull up.

I did a project on my ancestors a couple years back and found out (though I could feel it all along) that 13 generations back a Moroccan pirate hangs around in the family tree. arg.

I can't do one. But apparently to a good way to learn is to do pull ups on uneven holds (Where one is lower than the other).
