I know the death tolls are unbelievable, but does anyone know if we lost any climbers? I tried to find out if Railay was effected, but couldn't find it. My heart goes heart to everyone who lost family members. I heard about a mother who went into the tsunami to find her children. I am praying for them. Josh

It is hard to comprehend the magnitude of the disaster. I read this article on the 8a.nu site of a personel account of the Tsunami on Tonsai beach. It good to know that no known climbers have been injured and that many are staying behind to help the locals rebuild and clear the mess. http://www.8a.nu/eng/articles/sam.html
