I was wondering if it's better to have straight finger joints or fingers that slightly bend past ninety degrees? Mine are the latter and I'm mainly talking about your last knuckle joint in the top of each finger, how bout you? which is better?

It doesn't really matter.

Hyperflexibility of a joint is not uncommon, and is maily due to ligaments that stretch more than normal.

Women, for example, will frequently have elbows that can straighten past "flat" and bend "backwards" a small degree.

It's nothing to worry about unless your finger/knuckle frequently dislocates.

finger tip push-ups are a thing to avoid. i have this problem on the second interphelageal joint on my ring and littlest figers. Sometimes when hanging off just the tips the joint inverts a slight (30 degrees) amount. the hyperextention offen causes pain so it is probably not good.
