I went up the coast yesterday to boulder some cracks at Point Mugu. When I got there, I noticed that all the graffiti was covered up by a thick coat of paint from the ground to about fifteen feet up. No big deal I thought, the cracks will still be fine; no such luck. The paint goes into almost all of the cracks making them super slick. I still had fun, but was a little bummed that I was climbing paint the whole time. It definitely added to the highball factor. Just wanted to give a heads up.
