COMPREHENSIVE RACK FOR SALE! Retail value $1,700.00+ USD Listing for $800.00 USD Please see below for details: This is a pretty comprehensive, get-your-ass-up-all-sorts-of-stuff rack. There are 20 passive pieces, 16 active pieces, 52 carabiners, and a couple accessories. If you're just getting into trad climbing (plus like clipping bolts sometimes), here's your chance to pick up everything you'll need for years to come - all in one great deal. A few of the cams have held one or two short falls, otherwise the gear is about as virgin as used gear gets. Many of the active/passive pro pieces were placed on perhaps a dozen routes. Several pieces have only been used once or twice. The gear was mostly involved in fun 5.easy ascents, therefore not subjected to repeated falls/abuse/etc. I am the original owner of the gear and none of it has ever been loaned out or beyond my control. The entire lot has been lovingly cared for (i.e, cams cleaned/lubed regularly, stored in dry/dust-free closet in a closed gear pack, etc). I am obsessive about keeping my gear clean and maintained. Included with the rack are a couple dozen very lightly used spectra runners and quick draw slings. These are not being factored into the price, rather included because I have no use for them. The total retail value of the rack is $1700.00+ USD. I'm listing it for $800.00 USD. At this point I'm searching for a buyer interested in the whole thing, rather than splitting up items. I posted this opportunity here first, since there are always people at rc.com looking for a deal on gear. I'm located in Phoenix, AZ, so if you're an interested buyer in the area, you could come check out the goods over a beer. Here are the details: PASSIVE PRO - 20 PIECES TOTAL Full set of 13 BD stoppers Set of 7 Tri cams, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 - pink through grey ACTIVE PRO - 16 PIECES TOTAL Full size range set of 12 Metolius cams: #s 00, 0, 1, 2, 3 in TCU three cam size #s 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 in FCU four cam size 2 Black Diamond camelots: Size 1 red, Size 2 yellow 2 Wild Country offwidth size friends: Size 5, Size 6 CARABINERS - 52 TOTAL 5 Omega oval lockers 1 Omega belay biner 9 Black Diamond wiregate/livewire biners 12 Black Diamond bent gate biners 15 Black Diamond oval biners 4 Omegalite bent gate biners 2 BW bent gate biners 4 Omega oval biners ACCESORIES - 3 TOTAL 1 Black Diamond nut tool/beer opener 1 Wild Country ropeman mini ascender 1 Metolius padded multiloop double d gear sling SLINGS/WEBBING - 21 TOTAL 7 6" REI draws 5 8" REI draws 7 12mm 48" spectra runners (single over shoulder length) 1 Black Diamond spectra daisy chain 1 20' length of 8mm accessory cord http://skydonut.com/...mbing/rack_small.jpg Click for a larger image.

In reply to: is it just me or is the #6 friend red? All Tech Friends had red cams a few years ago.

In reply to: And then earmark me for the TCU's .. if you don't find a buyer. -- Why are you dumping it all? ja. I've basically gotten out of roped climbing (bouldering is all I do anymore), and decided it's time to sell my rack. This way I can fund some of my other hobbies : ) At any rate, I'm looking for a buyer interested in the whole thing first, since I'm under no pressure to sell. However, if I don't find someone, I'll definitely split things up and contact the first interested posters for each item(s).

nice rack, but you'll be hard pressed to find someone to shell out $800 bucks for it. if you want to sell the whole thing in one shot, you'll probably have to come down a couple hundred bucks. it may be better off for you to split it up as you may get more money that way. either that or ebay the whole thing, used gear seems to get bid up pretty high over there.

pretty much. like i said, i'm in no hurry to sell this stuff, so i'm going to poke around a bit, maybe post a flyer at a local shop/gym, etc... who knows. if nothing happens, then i'll sell different (ie smaller groups).

I would be interested in the tricams and the stoppers, depending on how much you would ask for them. Also, the BD wiregates interest me.
