Dont know who makes it, and no offense but are you really going to base your new rope only on the color and design of it?

you should not buy a rope based on how it looks. consider what length you want, what diameter, and what you will be using it for.

I want my next rope to be black. And I mean really black. I want other climbers at the crag to gather around my rope and say to each other, "It's like, how much more black could this rope be? and the answer is none. None more black."

Of course, it'll also have to be an 11.

That's RC.com fer ya...

5 useless/amusing replies, 2 useful replies and 1 commentary on the whole shebang interspersed with explanations in defense from the poor guy who asked the question.
Serves a person right for asking a question without stating the EXACT reason he wanted to know along with his/her climbing ability and resume! Not to mention a thesis on what the poor sap plans on using said information for! :nono:

This place kills me sometimes

on the other hand, AM I RESPONSIBLE for handing out information to a noob that might use said information and crater  as a result? :?
'Tis an ethical dilemna of sorts... :P

What do you mean, "remember"? They still make 'em (and no, I don't know who "they" are).

Sterling makes them too, only you'll have to settle for 10.2.

I didn't know shoes had souls. Now I feel kinda bad about rammin' my stinky feet into them all the time. At least I know the ones that got worn out are in a better place.

I can think of a lot of reasons I wouldn't want to blend into nature. namly being hurt on a ledge in the middle of an epic. Or even simply setting up a rap in the dark. How about figuring out which rope to pull at the end of a double rap in the dark when your headlamp has gone out and you've gone colorblind? It's not a bad idea guys when you stop to think about it for 8 seconds.
