Big city. Many gyms. In what part of L.A. will you be? -Jay

Rockreation in West LA is definitely the closest climbing gym to Santa Monica (It's about a 10 minute drive from the pier). It's a pretty decent gym, I climb there at least once a week (that is until I finish my woody at home). PM me if you have any other questions about the gym and/or the area. -Geoff Is not life a hundred times too short for us to bore ourselves? -FN

L.A. Rock Gym is about 20 minutes south of the S.M. Pier. Much more laid back than Rockreation( kind of a yuppy gym). Check it out. Great lead cave. Excellent bouldering walls. Nice people.
